Project Manager Funding Projects & Coordination (w/m/div), Munich

Munich, Germany

Are you eager to contribute to innovative projects and actively shape the future? Do you thrive in international teams and collaborating across various business units? As a Project Manager for Funding Projects & Coordination, you will coordinate research and development projects across different locations and divisions at Infineon. Additionally, you will independently manage dissemination activities for a specific microelectronic project. This position is part of our Project Management Career path, focusing on planning, organizing, and executing diverse projects while advancing your career. You will work in cross-functional teams, managing projects and temporarily taking on leadership responsibilities.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Managing publicly funded research projects across various technology and application fields at national and international levels.
  2. Serving as PJM for the management of multiple thematic sub-projects within R&D and investment projects.
  3. Managing funding projects with national and international partners, covering moderately complex thematic areas.
  4. Coordinating and organizing contributions from internal development units, aligning collaborations between Infineon sites, and preparing project reports at national and European levels.
  5. Designing, aligning, and achieving project goals at consortium and partner levels, documenting results for ongoing funding projects.
  6. Presenting research outcomes at project review meetings, audits, conferences, and to project sponsors and funders.
  7. Initiating and applying for national and international research projects with partners along the value chain, from research institutes to end-users.
  8. Supporting selected Infineon departments in choosing innovative research topics related to public funding calls.

To be successful, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Natural Sciences, or Engineering.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in managing technical projects, preferably in the semiconductor industry or relevant application fields at Infineon.
  3. Fulfill the requirements for the Infineon PJM Career Position: Project Manager.
  4. Enthusiasm and good knowledge in leading technical projects with various partners and interfaces.
  5. Experience in dealing with interdisciplinary stakeholder groups and enjoyment in networking interdisciplinary expert teams within and outside the company.
  6. A willingness to travel nationally and across Europe due to project execution.
  7. Solid project management skills (IPMA Level D or C) proven.
  8. Experience in managing funding projects is advantageous.
  9. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
