The future of BASF is climate-neutral - and we are shaping the way ahead! We enable BASF to access renewable energy by participating in the production of renewable electricity, concluding long-term supply contracts, and bringing renewable electricity to BASF production sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily balancing group operations, including plausibility checks, scheduling, and manual interventions for the German, Belgium, and Dutch balancing groups. Weekend shifts are part of the role.
• Monitor data exchange processes with partners and manage Energy Data according to MaBiS standards.
• Handle reconciliation and validation across systems.
• Coordinate with exchanges, trading partners, grid operators, and banks.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training or relevant studies, with professional experience in the energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of balancing processes and energy markets, especially in Germany; knowledge of other countries is a plus.
• Familiarity with market communication towards TSO (MaBiS).
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Structured, independent, and efficient work style with high-quality standards.
