Job Description:

As a Working Student in IT Portfolio Operations, you will be part of our global, diverse IT organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our IT team, where you will be responsible for portfolio and project reporting, as well as resource management within a virtual setup.

You will play a key role in creating transparency in portfolio financials, project health status, and resource utilization by designing, organizing, executing, and testing technology-based processes. After an initial training phase where you will learn about portfolio management processes, reporting, and analytics, you will work independently, leveraging your analytical skills and proactive, collaborative mindset.

Effective communication and the ability to build and maintain constructive relationships are essential for success. Additionally, you will contribute to developing plans for process improvements and change management.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree or enrollment at a German university with a valid work permit
  • Experience with reporting & analytics tools, particularly PowerBI
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience with modern communication and collaboration platforms (Office365, SharePoint)
  • Basic IT knowledge
  • First experience in PMO, project portfolio, project management, or project support activities is a plus
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Willingness to work with finance and procurement data sets and processes
  • Customer-oriented, collaborative, pragmatic problem-solver with analytical thinking and a tech-savvy mindset
  • Positive attitude with excellent presentation and intercultural skills
  • Strong organizational skills and result-oriented approach, persistent in collecting input
