About The Role

You will build models to estimate food delivery times at various stages of the order process, and develop complex ranking pipelines for search and recommendation engines. You will also optimize dispatching and demand/supply balancing to minimize delivery times.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to understand business needs and develop end-to-end solutions.
2. Deploy and validate solutions for millions of users, providing fast feedback and measurable value.
3. Deploy models to production using AWS and internal platforms, utilizing Python, Spark, Presto, Docker, SageMaker, and Airflow.
4. Exchange knowledge with Data Scientists across all levels, fostering collaboration and innovation.
5. Solve real-world problems such as ranking, search, recommendation, user clustering, pricing, delivery time estimation, dispatching, and demand/supply balancing.
6. Apply advanced techniques like deep learning, gradient boosting, causal inference, optimization, dimensionality reduction, and time series forecasting.

About You

1. 5+ years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, preferably in product development within tech companies.
2. Proficient in Python, with experience in Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and OR-tools; skilled in statistical hypothesis testing.
3. Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about collaborating across roles to identify problems and opportunities.
4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
5. Hands-on experience building end-to-end ML systems, including testing, monitoring, scaling, and impact measurement.
