We are looking for a passionate and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team! If you have a strong background in laboratory testing and equipment management, this is your chance to play a key role in ensuring the safety, performance, and continuous improvement of our products and lab operations.

What You Will Do:

  1. Conduct comprehensive safety and performance tests on products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  2. Analyze and evaluate test results using advanced analytical and statistical methods.
  3. Collaborate closely with biomechanical engineers, providing clear and actionable test insights.
  4. Develop and optimize new test setups based on User Requirement Specifications (URS).
  5. Maintain and oversee laboratory equipment, driving efficiency and innovation.
  6. Seek for and lead the implementation of new technologies to enhance lab operations.
  7. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and security protocols as our designated security representative.

What You Need:

Required:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Biomechanics, Medical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Several years of professional experience in testing medical products, mechanical components or biomaterials.
  3. Expertise in equipment automation and test setup development.
  4. Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and technical documentation.
  5. Fluent in English and German to collaborate in an international environment.

Preferred:

  1. Experience in executing verification testing campaigns.
  2. Experience in programming (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python, Labview).
  3. Familiarity with laboratory safety and security protocols.
  4. Experience in the medical device industry, with specific expertise related to testing, osteosynthesis or similar areas.
