About the role

The objective of this role is to actively participate in the enhancement of the current application within a project team focused on optimizing the management of RWE's renewable energy assets. Leveraging your expertise, you will collaborate closely with team members to design and implement robust AWS solutions aimed at improving efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the existing system landscape.

Job requirements and experience

Technical Skills

• Programming Expertise: Strong command of C# with .NET >=6
• AWS Services: Expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, ECS, Step Functions, EventBridge, CloudWatch.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Skilled in Docker and managing ECS clusters.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with CDK and/or Terraform.
• CI/CD: Experience with pipelines, ideally Azure DevOps.
• Collaboration: Willingness to work with the company's global data platform using Python, Databricks, and Dremio.

Business Knowledge & Processes

• Analytical Skills: Ability to understand complex business processes and application landscapes.
• Process Transparency: Ensuring clarity and understandability of processes.
• Process Alignment: Adherence to standards and avoiding duplication.
• Adaptability: Working effectively in diverse environments with professionalism.

Communication

• Ability to evaluate different options through planning and discussion.
• Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written).
