The Role
This role of Senior Corporate Communication Manager has a particular focus on proactive communication of the company's position on key milestones, major initiatives, issues and policies within our industry. We're looking for someone dynamic, news-hungry and with the aim to raise LucaNet's profile in Europe, UK, Singapore, and future markets around the world.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement proactive and reactive media relations strategies that support LucaNet's objectives and mission.
- Build relationships with key business and trade media contacts worldwide to secure positive coverage across broadcast, print, and digital media.
- Develop and manage communication programs, including press releases, media kits, and other materials.
- Coordinate interviews and press conferences with executives and key personnel.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify trends and potential issues, advising executives on messaging and media strategies.
- Manage crisis communications during negative press or reputation threats.
- Collaborate with departments like Brand Communications and Product to ensure consistent messaging.
- Support the CEO as a spokesperson on key topics, news flow, and issues, proactively pitching media and responding to requests.
- Oversee award applications and promote positive results.
What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience managing media relations programs in the B2B industry, preferably tech.
- Strong experience engaging with European business media.
- Experience working with senior leaders and supporting media interviews and external engagements.
- Global mindset, knowledge of SaaS or finance industry.
- Background in public relations or journalism, with experience managing global agencies.
- Location in Munich, Berlin, or remote in Europe.
