The Business Unit Europe Africa is one of TK Elevator's largest units. Its Regional Business Support Center is located in Dusseldorf, Germany, coordinating activities in over 20 countries and a distributor network in Africa. This unit manages the sale, installation, servicing, and modernization of elevators, escalators, and moving walks. In select markets, the portfolio also includes home lifts and automatic door services. In fiscal year 2022/2023, the Business Unit employed approximately 14,000 staff and generated around €2.4 billion in sales.   • Support the implementation of the Safety Transformation Program across regions.
  • Identify and prioritize critical risks that could lead to serious injuries or fatalities.
  • Serve as the main contact for market clusters concerning Serious Injury and Fatalities (SIF).
  • Ensure insights from incidents are understood and applied effectively.
  • Assess the likelihood and potential impact of SIF events.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate critical risks through improved safety controls and training.
  • Collaborate with regional OSH managers to ensure consistent OSH standards implementation.
  • Evaluate suppliers and contractors for OSH compliance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through active stakeholder feedback.
  • A degree in Safety, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in complex work environments, especially with installation projects and managing subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management frameworks.
  • Proven skills in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Experience leading distributed teams with a significant subcontractor component.
  • Experience working in a multinational, multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
