Are you looking to join a community of professionals that support the growth of Selling Partners’ businesses? Amazon is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its Pan-European Marketplace Team in Berlin.

Today, more than 60% of worldwide purchases from Amazon’s sites are made from third-party sellers. Our customers can choose from over 100 million products on Amazon. This vast selection is only possible because of the many entrepreneurial third-party businesses offering their products on the Amazon Marketplace.

Your role will focus on contributing to business acquisition by building Selling Partner relationships, performing business evaluations, and supporting their launch in the Pan-European FBA (Fulfilment By Amazon) program, making their products available across Europe. You will also drive various projects and initiatives to improve the experience for both sellers and customers.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Help selling partners recognize growth potential and expand their businesses internationally, leveraging Amazon’s platform to broaden their product range for European customers.
  2. Manage a portfolio of selling partners, assist with their setup, and help them understand Amazon’s services and tools to optimize their business operations.
  3. Develop and report on key performance indicators for your portfolio, analyzing root causes for performance changes.
  4. Gather ongoing feedback from selling partners to evaluate performance and enhance seller satisfaction with Amazon.

Fluency in both English and German is essential for success in this role.

Grundqualifikationen
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in business administration, economics, engineering, or computer science.
  • Experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Passion for creating engaging customer experiences and translating client needs into business and product requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
  • Proven track record in maintaining client relationships and achieving sales or account management targets.
  • Experience conducting business reviews and stakeholder management, e.g., as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Experience in e-commerce or retail is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of databases, SQL, and CRM tools is advantageous but not essential.
