About the role

As a production engineer, you are the central point of contact for our production processes and plant technology. You are responsible for the planning, engineering, and development of the most important manufacturing processes in our production systems for precast building elements.

You ensure the overall availability of the process, the quality of production, and monitor technical capacity, process parameters, and cost-effectiveness. You also ensure that the process is cost-efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly.

If necessary, you will support changes to the production line and will check customer, supplier, and process changes. As the central interface between WCM (World Class Manufacturing), AEM (Advanced Equipment Management), AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering), and the digital value chain, you promote continuous improvement at our production site.

You will also be involved in developing work instructions for the operating personnel.

Your tasks include:

1. Analyzing and monitoring the production process for ongoing series production
2. Implementing rectifying measures in the process
3. Participating in the optimization of production processes and plant technology
4. Optimizing production processes in terms of resources (people, machines, materials)
5. Ensuring required quality standards
6. Managing your team to ensure the timely implementation of tasks and projects
7. Conducting data-driven analysis and implementing improvement processes
8. Supporting occupational safety and environmental protection efforts

About you

1. Degree in engineering or a comparable qualification
2. Affinity for robots and CNC technology
3. Professional experience in medium or large-scale production
4. Independent, structured work style with a good understanding of numbers
5. Knowledge of MS Office
6. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
7. Proficiency in German and English communication
