Digital energy trading can't afford to wait. We manage the energy trading operations of the Group, acting as the Group's gateway to wholesale markets for electricity, natural gas, emissions trading, and renewable energy. Become part of our mission and join our dynamic team to grow alongside us.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee a team of 10+ skilled analysts and meteorologists.
2. Provide comprehensive analytical support to internal departments (e.g., Front Office Desks, Risk Management).
3. Drive the development of Green Energy trading by leveraging existing capabilities, including quantitative analysis, weather forecasting, and long-term energy pricing scenarios.
4. Manage quantitative models and their ongoing improvements, covering Forward Curves, PPAs, Swings, Storage, and more.
5. Contribute to shaping trading strategies, risk management approaches, and algorithmic trading initiatives.
6. Define priorities and explore new applications for analysis within the organization.
7. Collaborate with the DevOps team to enhance and expand the technical model platform.
8. Manage market data, ensuring its quality and accessibility, and negotiate with vendors.

Your Qualifications :

1. A Master’s or PhD in a relevant field.
2. At least 7 years of experience in energy trading.
3. Proven success in leading teams and managing projects.
4. A collaborative, hands-on leadership style.
5. Ability to thrive in a growing, evolving organization.
6. Expertise in Renewables, Power, and Gas markets and trading.
7. Proficiency in quantitative analysis, fundamental modeling, structuring, model testing, and digital transformation is an asset.
8. Experience with programming and IT project management is advantageous.
9. Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
