Business Development Manager ESS Residential (m/f/d)

We seek a motivated Residential Battery Business Development Manager to drive expansion in residential energy storage solutions. The role involves identifying new customer opportunities, building stakeholder relationships, and increasing sales in the residential battery sector. The ideal candidate should have a background in renewable energy, battery technology, or related fields (Inverter, Solar Systems, Renewable Energy), along with strategic planning and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in residential batteries, Small C&I, and Solar systems
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitors to develop go-to-market strategies
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence and meet revenue goals

Sales & Business Growth:

  • Develop partnerships with distributors and installers to generate sales
  • Present solutions to B2B customers such as energy providers and inverter companies
  • Build relationships with utility companies, energy service providers, and large installers
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align offerings with market needs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector
  • University degree in economics, engineering, or equivalent
  • Proven sales record meeting targets
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Deep technical knowledge of Li-Ion batteries, inverters, PV systems
  • Results-oriented and highly motivated
  • Willingness to travel extensively across EU countries
