Jobbeschreibung

As a Project Manager for our strategic and commercial research projects, you will work closely with developers and researchers across engineering, chemistry, pharma affairs, and with our commercial team customers and external partners. Your goal will be to ensure that our key projects deliver as planned while maintaining a smooth process for internal and external stakeholders.

We seek an experienced Project Manager with a scientific or engineering background and customer-facing experience, capable of translating strategic objectives into day-to-day deliverables, managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading cross-functional project teams to deliver research, development, and commercial projects, working with research, engineering teams, and external partners in biomedical research and patient care.
  2. Planning, coordinating, monitoring, and managing assigned projects to ensure quality, progress, time, and budget adherence from initiation to delivery.
  3. Taking on project member or work package owner roles when required, such as creating commercial deliverables like business plans.
  4. Supporting the evaluation of new projects and collaborations, defining project scope and goals aligned with key stakeholders to benefit researchers and patients.
  5. Identifying and assessing project risks proactively, defining mitigation strategies aligned with company priorities and strategy.
  6. Driving collaboration, effective communication, and transparency within project teams, across the company, and with external collaborators, evaluators, and funding agencies.
  7. Acting as the single point of contact for external partners and fostering sustainable relationships.

Your profile:

  • Academic degree (e.g., MSc, MD, PhD) in biomedical sciences, chemistry, physics, engineering, or a comparable field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in health research or care.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, escalate risks, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders, and experience reporting on technical and commercial topics.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Comfortable with various project management methodologies (classical, sequential, waterfall, agile, etc.).
  • Understanding of collaborative and funded research projects (public/private) is a plus.
  • Project Management certifications are advantageous.
