System Integration Manager

System Integration Managers play a vital role in the success of our projects and are the all-important Voice of Engineering that ensures the solutions we deliver meet specifications with the customer's requirements at the forefront.

The SIM's role is to ensure design integrity across the project and provide proactive technical risk management, ensuring that the integrated solution meets requirements for functionality and throughput as defined in the contract and measured by acceptance testing, starting in the Sales phase and concluding at handover to Customer Service.

We are excited to strengthen our EMEA Systems Integration function. This remotely based position involves visiting various customer sites around the country and driving user and solutions acceptance testing to increase first-time acceptance of our technology in automated materials handling solutions.

Tasks and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the voice of Engineering to optimize automation solutions during presale reviews and acceptance testing.
  • Support the Simulation team by providing technical advice, reviewing simulation outputs, and aligning with SD and Sales.
  • Generate System Specifications for customer approval and understanding.
  • Define and lead the integration strategy throughout all project phases.
  • Ensure alignment of system specifications, software, and mechanical deliverables with contractual requirements.
  • Lead sitewide system testing, documenting strategies, plans, and results.
  • Produce system availability weightings and oversee FEM calculations.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Masters degree in Industrial Plant, Mechatronics, or Mathematics.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in development or technical management, preferably in high-level automated logistics.
  • Experience as a Software Engineer in warehouse management is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience in engineering within the material handling industry preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and technical documentation skills.
  • Customer-facing skills and ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regional teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically 50-60% of the time.
  • Full driver's license required.
