Exciting Opportunity for a Sales Manager with a hunter mindset

Join our Advanced Materials Sales Team in the AM Sales Central region at Outokumpu and be part of a forward-thinking organization that values innovation, collaboration, and growth.

We are seeking a commercially skilled, passionate sales professional driven by a strong hunting mentality. This role offers the chance to build an extensive network, work with strategic customers, and collaborate across departments. Outokumpu is leading the green transition in sustainable stainless steel. Our products are made from 95% recycled materials and are fully recyclable. Responsibilities:
  • Hunting Mindset: Identify, target, and close new business opportunities proactively.
  • Promote Advanced Materials: Demonstrate expertise in stainless steel and nickel alloys to drive growth.
  • Sales Leadership: Manage the entire portfolio, develop strategies, and focus on closing impactful deals.
  • Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with professionalism to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies and contribute to strategic projects.
  • Client Engagement: Manage key accounts and acquire new customers.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends through analysis and participation in trade fairs and seminars.
  • Travel: Regular travel across Germany and Europe for client visits, trade shows, and site tours.
Qualifications:
  • Business degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in stainless steel or related sectors.
  • Fluent in German and English; Dutch is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and SAP.
  • Results-driven hunter with technical insight and passion for sales.
  • Willing to travel occasionally within BeNeLux, Central Europe, and internationally.
