About the Role

Here at Workday, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. With a net new revenue focus, they are the fuel for Workday’s new customer growth.

This team of hardworking professionals plays a key role in guiding new customers to move beyond legacy platforms and adopt a new class of enterprise management cloud solutions. We believe in partnering with our customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long-lasting value, ensuring customer satisfaction from day one and ongoing.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop strategies for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in your assigned territory
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects and share Workday's value propositions
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and forecast data

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Prior experience in cloud business application sales, leading complex sales cycles end-to-end
  • Experience selling to C-level executives in a team selling environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German & English
  • Experience in generating and developing leads within your territory

Other Qualifications

  • Proven success in high-velocity sales cycles, including prospecting
  • Understanding of industry trends and customer needs to position Workday solutions effectively
