Your Responsibilities

• Achieve P&L targets through portfolio and asset optimization (Storage, Transport, LTCs, Sales, LNG) and market analysis for periods from within-day to month-ahead.
• Contribute to trading strategies by analyzing market fundamentals such as geopolitics, cross-commodity trends, LNG, and storage levels.
• Understand our portfolio's contractual, financial, and physical constraints, and find ways to leverage portfolio flexibility for value.
• Coordinate across trading desks to optimize cross-commodity opportunities (Gas to Power, LNG Regas, Biomethane).
• Forecast sales volumes accurately and manage portfolios to reduce imbalance charges, considering temperature and price sensitivities.
• Implement digital tools like algo-trading platforms to enhance decision-making speed and insight.
• Enhance operational efficiency through automation, ensuring robust processes for value creation and protection.
• Collaborate closely with the Gas Trading & Dispatch team and other optimization units to maximize value around the clock.
• Support market development and new business initiatives, including Biomethane and Eastern Europe markets.
• Participate in on-call duties on a rotating basis for out-of-office hours.

Your Profile

• Higher education in mathematics, sciences, engineering, economics, business, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and a quantitative mindset for data-driven decision-making in volatile markets.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive in implementing new ideas, and adaptable to change.
• Experience in commodity trading and asset optimization is advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure, prioritize effectively, and solve problems resourcefully.
