The Role

The business development team is crucial to our success in providing an exceptional buying experience. We are seeking a senior executive to lead and grow a high-performing sales team and position iDeals as the first-choice VDR provider in the EMEA region. This role reports directly to the VP of Sales, EMEA, and is based in Frankfurt. You will shape strategic growth initiatives, foster key partnerships, and drive revenue expansion. This position is ideal for a motivated leader eager to leverage industry networks and drive transformative business opportunities. You will work with the latest technologies, lead a team exploring untapped markets, and deliver innovative solutions to revolutionize our industry.

What You Will Do

  1. Lead a team of Field Sales professionals, fostering collaboration and managing the customer lifecycle.
  2. Manage business development metrics and drive outcomes.
  3. Recruit experienced professionals and ensure rapid onboarding.
  4. Attract high-potential contributors and scale the sales team.
  5. Encourage continuous learning and development.
  6. Mentor and coach team members to meet goals.
  7. Manage performance appraisal processes.
  8. Define and report operational metrics to leadership.
  9. Align with marketing, product, customer success, finance, and executive teams.
  10. Cultivate new business and develop partnerships.
  11. Support closing strategic deals and nurturing long-term relationships.
  12. Lead by example in setting vision, engaging with customers, managing deals, and participating in leadership forums and industry events.
  13. Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.

What We Look For

  1. 10+ years in new business development sales, with 4+ years of managerial experience.
  2. Experience managing high-velocity, volume sales strategies.
  3. Proven sales background in B2B SaaS.
  4. Expertise in transactional sales, methodologies, and negotiations.
  5. Experience selling across multiple geographic regions.
  6. Proven leadership in hiring, motivating, coaching, and developing teams.
  7. Strong leadership skills with a focus on talent growth and collaboration.
  8. Experience managing at least 8+ employees in sales teams.
  9. Excellent communication skills.
  10. Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic.
  11. Committed to delivering excellent customer experiences.
