The Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within Germany. Candidates should be capable of prospecting (via email, phone, & partner ecosystem), developing, and closing business promptly while focusing on client requirements. AE's must confidently negotiate and close agreements and support onboarding of new customers.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-visibility, impactful projects at an exciting growth phase. As an Account Executive at Snowflake, you will:
  1. Achieve sales quotas for assigned accounts/territory by developing regional sales strategies and target prospect lists.
  2. Collaborate with marketing to drive revenue growth.
  3. Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding clients’ IT roadmaps to promote Snowflake solutions.
  4. Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams.
  5. Conduct executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
  6. Manage sales processes and close opportunities.
  7. Maintain ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and additional revenue.
  8. Apply a solution-based sales approach, managing complex sales processes with excellent presentation, listening, and organizational skills.
Our ideal Account Executive will have:
  1. A BA/BS degree.
  2. Over 3 years of field sales experience, preferably with data or cloud technology.
  3. More than 5 years focused on generating new business within enterprise accounts.
  4. Proven ability to independently manage and close new client relationships.
  5. Experience achieving an annual ARR of $800k+ and conducting 8+ face-to-face meetings weekly.
  6. Strong focus on new business sales.
  7. A track record of activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
  8. Ability to assess customer needs and present suitable solutions.
  9. Proactive, independent, energetic, and positive attitude.
  10. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  12. Understanding of broader business drivers related to IT.
Bonus points for experience with:
  • Implementing MEDDPICC.
  • Selling software or cloud applications to enterprise clients.
