Job Description:

Wondery, one of the largest podcast publishers in the US, is seeking an Advertising Sales Executive to join their team. The role involves driving revenue through direct and agency sales, developing strategic partnerships, and executing a go-to-market sales strategy for podcast advertising in Germany. The candidate will work closely with content and sales teams to maximize revenue and ensure alignment with sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate advertising revenue through direct client and agency relationships.
  2. Support and execute sales strategies across various podcast ad formats including sponsorships, host/read ads, and programmatic sales.
  3. Identify new opportunities and provide tailored solutions to clients.
  4. Collaborate with content teams for market insights and content alignment.
  5. Develop and maintain partnerships with agencies and brands.
  6. Coordinate with international and domestic sales teams to ensure cohesive sales efforts.
  7. Maintain sales pipeline, reporting, and forecasting.
  8. Understand clients' marketing and media strategies deeply.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience in digital media sales with agencies and direct brands.
  2. Proven ability to nurture and grow complex client accounts.
  3. Fluent in German (C2 level).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in podcast advertising sales.
  2. Knowledge of programmatic advertising and international media sales.
  3. Existing network of agency and brand contacts.
  4. Ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  5. Experience in audio digital media sales.
