Solution Specialist – Artificial Intelligence (AI)

As a Solution Specialist specializing in AI, you will serve as a technical solution expert within our global AI organization, working with strategic customers to establish their AI strategies and prioritize key use cases that deliver business value. You will showcase Microsoft’s AI capabilities, collaborate with technical experts to build solutions involving large language models, Azure OpenAI services, vision, speech, and machine learning, and support the deployment of MVP solutions from design to production.

This role is part of our Global Black Belt (GBB) organization, comprising highly specialized professionals who work on complex, innovative solutions, providing technical leadership across various domains including Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, application development, and machine learning.

Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in technology-related sales or account management, or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field combined with relevant sales experience.
  • Experience selling AI solutions (Machine Learning, Intelligent Apps/Agents, Search) in enterprise cloud environments.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites.
  • Proficiency in English and German at a professional level.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in enterprise solution selling, stakeholder management, technical credibility, CxO communication, and solution orchestration.
  • Experience building AI and machine learning solutions, including MLOps and architectures like deep learning and LSTM.
  • Skills in developing scalable software or infrastructure for distributed systems.
  • Understanding of AI, ML, and app development lifecycle and operations (DevOps, MLOps).
  • Familiarity with core machine learning concepts, frameworks, tools, and responsible AI practices.

This role requires travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities
  • Win new AI engagements by demonstrating deep technical expertise and business value through customer workshops, creating MVPs that enable AI-powered applications (60%).
  • Enhance customer value by demonstrating solution expertise and leveraging industry-specific use cases, accelerating digital transformation (20%).
  • Build solution selling capabilities within the sales team, acting as a trusted technical coach and orchestrator (20%).
