Job Description:

For our division Unilin Flooring, we are looking for a strategic and persistent Sales Manager to drive growth in our DIY market in Germany and Austria.
This role requires a proactive approach to market development and customer relationship management, combining autonomy, results orientation, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the DIY segment.
  • Approach potential DIY customers and grow our customer base for laminate and rigid flooring.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, including pricing, payment terms, and rebates.
  • Convert prospects into key accounts and nurture long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to support sales initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Represent Unilin Flooring DIY at events and customer meetings.
  • Act as a bridge between different sales teams (direct, wholesale, DIY).
Who are you?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of proven sales management experience, preferably in flooring/construction industries.
  • Experience in DIY or wholesale sales is essential.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Long-term mindset with persistence.
  • Leadership and team motivation abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Proximity to Dusseldorf office is a plus.
