The Leibniz Institute of Virology (LIV) is an independent research institution for basic biomedical research. As a foundation under civil law and member of the Leibniz Association, the Institute holds a leading position both nationally and internationally. The LIV is located on the research campus in Hamburg-Eppendorf, in close proximity to the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), and at the Centre for Structural Systems Biology (CSSB) on the Hamburg-Bahrenfeld research campus.
We are seeking to fill the following position as soon as possible, either full-time or part-time (up to 80% working hours):
Science Communication and Public Outreach Officer (m/f/d)
Science communication & Media Relations
Online Communication (Website, Social Media)
Event Management and Networking
) and communication with other cooperation partners and stakeholders from science, politics, industry, and other sectors
This position is initially limited to two years, with the option of becoming permanent.
