Region & Language:

The ideal candidate is based in Germany. You’ll be working remotely from your home city and have responsibility for sales to target accounts in the Central Europe region. Business fluency in English and German is essential.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a hungry, focused, and resilient sales professional with great collaboration and sales execution skills to help grow the business across the market unit.

The Account Executive will be selling into a focused list of strategic target accounts. You will be entrepreneurial in nature and excel at building pipelines, creating, and closing opportunities. By using a consultative approach to value-based selling, you will lead with IFS's award-winning products while also leveraging the broader portfolio to bring value to our customers. You will use your industry knowledge and enterprise software sales expertise to identify and qualify deals, leading to sales opportunities with our existing customer base.

The role is positioned within a high-growth market unit. This is an organization undergoing transformational growth (organic and inorganic). We are an ever-evolving business, challenging and disrupting industry standards often accepted by competitors in the global enterprise software space.

Our go-to-market strategy is focused on geographical and key industry verticals within a matrixed sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Strong sales execution and continuous improvement of these skills
  • Prepare, update, own, and execute the Go-To-Market Strategy for nominated industries
  • Prepare, own, and maintain Territory Plan for the vertical
  • Develop Account Plans including deal action cards, mutual evaluation plans, and power maps for named accounts
  • Own the entire sales process, including demand generation, understanding customer needs, managing RFI/RFP processes, building business cases, and closing deals, utilizing resources within a matrix organization
  • Collaborate with partners to penetrate accounts, create joint sales strategies, accelerate deal cycles, and maximize value, ensuring strong delivery plans and satisfied referenceable customers
  • Own responsibility for annual sales targets and quarterly delivery
  • Continuously build pipelines and generate demand to achieve 4x pipeline coverage
  • Coordinate with Sales leadership and Global teams to foster internal collaboration
  • Maintain accurate CRM and account hygiene, along with sales cadence, administration, and reporting for accurate forecasting

Qualifications

You will demonstrate:

  • Experience in industry, enterprise software sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas within the assigned geographic and industry segments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and resilience
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and commitment to data hygiene and accurate reporting
  • Willingness to follow structured sales processes, including cadence and forecasting
  • Strong communication skills in English and the relevant local language
  • Ability to work within a matrix organization, building relationships and securing support
