Summary: We are seeking a Software Engineer for Radar Test Systems (f/m/d) in the Airborne Radar Test Equipment Software department at the Ulm or Immenstaad site. The department develops algorithms and software for radar environment simulators, supporting the integration and verification of complex radar systems. Responsibilities include developing real-time software for radar test systems, analyzing requirements, designing architectures, and supporting system integration.

Your Tasks:

1. Develop real-time software for radar test systems (Radar Environment Simulator)
2. Analyze software requirements, evaluate, and define suitable software architectures
3. Implement, test, and verify software
4. Support integration of test systems into various radar test environments
5. Create necessary project documentation
6. Participate in planning and effort estimation

Willingness to travel is required.

Your Profile:

1. Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, or similar
2. Experience in developing embedded real-time software on multicore platforms
3. Experience with agile development and software variant management is advantageous
4. Knowledge of continuous integration/delivery is advantageous
5. Proficiency in C, C++, and Python; knowledge of Ada and Linux is a plus
6. Strong analytical skills, team orientation, and social competence
7. Fluent German and very good English skills
