Role Overview

AMDT is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding key client relationships, developing strategic account plans, and driving business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in account management.


Your Tasks
  • Lead Management: Qualify and manage inbound leads from marketing, in addition to outbound prospecting focused on the Manufacturing industry.
  • Customer Engagement: Contact prospective customers in the assigned area to determine their needs and interest in the company's products and services.
  • Sales Demonstration: Schedule or conduct web sales demonstrations and maintain detailed notes in the lead tracking system. Ensure resources are available for effective demos when needed.
  • Product and Competitor Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the company's products and services, as well as the activities of competitors.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain positive customer relationships to maximize satisfaction, obtain new sales, and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments such as marketing, customer service, and sales support.

Your Profile
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Preferred associate's or bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in sales tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Strong understanding of the Industrial Automation and/or OT/IT Security space.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.

Nice to have
  • Experience in Automotive, Pharma, or Food & Beverage industry.
  • Experience with latest cybersecurity standards such as NIS2, NIST, IEC 62443, or CRA.
  • Previous experience working in a start-up or fast-paced growth environment.
