Job Description:

For the "Vulnerability Management Service Optimization" project, we are seeking an IT Security Consultant to analyze and remediate vulnerabilities in the IT landscape. The goal of the project is to reduce the attack surface by addressing security flaws in applications, operating systems, network components, as well as cloud and on-premise systems. These optimizations aim to improve security posture and minimize the risk of penetration or compromise within the IT landscape.

Responsibilities:
* Analyze existing security concepts and identify vulnerabilities across all software layers
* Provide consulting to internal teams regarding remediation measures and risk minimization
* Support external service providers and perform quality control during the implementation of security measures
* Offer expertise on avoiding future vulnerabilities through system hardening and proper service configuration
* Manage escalation processes related to vulnerability management in cooperation with the Cyber Defense Center (CDC)
* Document remediation actions, progress, and planning using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, OneNote)

Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in IT security in larger organizations
* Knowledge of ServiceNow and Infoblox
* Strong understanding of security standards such as ENISA, NIST, and ISO 27001
