We are looking to strengthen our team in Kiel/Altenholz, Bremen, Flintbek, Halle (Saale), Hamburg, Hannover, Magdeburg, Potsdam as a:

Database Administrator (Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB) (m/f/d)

Responsibilities
  1. Administration and support of Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB databases under Linux
  2. Planning, installation, configuration, operation, and monitoring of database systems
  3. Performing performance analyses, tuning, upgrades, and migrations
  4. Developing automation and monitoring scripts to increase efficiency
  5. Creating documentation and operation concepts for sustainable operation
Qualifications
  1. Degree in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable scientific field, or relevant IT training and experience
  2. Solid knowledge of working with Oracle databases; experience with MySQL, MariaDB, or MongoDB is a plus
  3. Proficiency with Linux server systems and scripting in Shell, Bash, or Python
  4. Ideally experience with automation tools like Ansible and GitLab
  5. Analytical thinking, good communication skills, and a self-reliant, solution-oriented work approach
