• You will support tesa SE directly in ongoing projects.
• You will be responsible for part-projects in the area of simulation.
• You will support the development and improvement of our adhesives and products through modeling and simulation.
• You will help to adapt and extend classic and current material models and simulation methods.
• You will independently document your work results.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, materials science, mathematics, or a comparable field.
• Good programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB.
• Good knowledge of the finite element method, (nonlinear) continuum mechanics, and the underlying mathematics is welcome.
• Basic skills in using appropriate FEA software packages like SIMULIA Abaqus are a plus.
• First experience in modeling and simulation of polymeric materials is also a big plus.
