About the Role

At Workday, our Specialized Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. Focused on net new revenue, they drive Workday’s growth in specialized products like Adaptive Planning, Scout, HiredScore, and Peakon. They guide new customers from legacy platforms to our enterprise management cloud. In this role, you will:

  1. Develop and execute short-term account strategies aligned with customer objectives, building and maintaining long-term relationships.
  2. Manage relationships with customers and channel partners, focusing on deal management and matching customer needs with Workday solutions.
  3. Collaborate with Net New and Customer Base Account Executives to identify sales opportunities within existing specialized product customers.
  4. Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SaaS/Cloud sales experience to C-level executives in a field sales role.
  • Experience managing sales cycles of 9+ months, including prospecting.
  • Experience in account planning and internal stakeholder coordination.
  • HR Technology & recruiting/talent acquisition experience.

Other Qualifications

  • Understanding of industry trends and customer needs to position Workday solutions effectively.
  • Deep product knowledge and industry awareness.
  • Partnership skills for account strategies and territory management.
  • Excellent communication skills, credible with senior executives.
  • Experience selling to Large Enterprise / Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, adaptable, inquisitive.
  • Goal-oriented with a record of over-performance.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
