Product Cost Planning Specialist (m/f/d)

Your profile

Minimum a bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant fields such as business, economics, finance, or engineering. Prior experience in a cost assessment role is a plus.

Key soft skills include communication, public speaking, reporting, and problem-solving.

Fluent English speaking and writing skills are required; German language skills are welcome; Korean language skills are a plus.

Essential skills include basic accounting, attention to detail, and information gathering for cost estimations.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing product cost planning for development projects in Europe and India.
• Conducting strategic analysis and evaluation of estimated product costs.
• Performing cost accounting and analysis for core products.
• Analyzing pre-profitability of new products and technologies.
• Assessing profitability of newly developed automotive components.
• Establishing calculation standards for estimated and target costs.
• Defining cost evaluation standards for new factories and products.
• Implementing Target Cost Management for advanced/development projects.
• Reporting analysis results throughout the product development process.
• Providing management with reports on project status and industry trends.
