Join a leading company dedicated to outdoor adventures as a data science leader. Contribute to designing user experiences for their innovative mobile and web applications. Enjoy flexible remote work options and a supportive team culture focused on adventure and growth.
Come and join us on our mission to make FATMAP the Home of the Outdoors — the place where every adventure begins.
We are evolving and expanding our data science function as a strategic contributor to business and product decisions across the company. We are looking for a hands-on data science leader to advance our data science capabilities.
We’re here to help people have better, safer mountain adventures. Your role will contribute by designing an exceptional user experience for our mobile and web apps.
FATMAP is the world’s only global 3D map built for outdoor adventure, trusted by top adventurers, athletes, and mountain guides. We’re building the largest community of skiers, hikers, mountain bikers, trail runners, and mountaineers worldwide, enabling them to plan, experience, and share their adventures.
Joining FATMAP means working with a fast-moving team dedicated to our mission: making FATMAP the Home of the Outdoors — where every adventure begins. We aim to democratize access to adventure, making the experience simple, accessible, and shareable.
We seek someone passionate about the outdoors and their craft: someone living and breathing the product with deep empathy for our users’ needs, yet capable of rapidly designing and building a product to support 10x growth in the next year.
Our team of 40 still feels very much like a start-up. To thrive here, you should be comfortable moving quickly in ambiguity and able to create organizational structures to scale our business. We have ambitious goals, and we’re looking for someone ready for the challenge.
We operate a flexible remote policy — pandemic permitting. You will be based in one of our hubs in Chamonix, Berlin, Vilnius, or Southern Britain, with the option to work from home part of the time, but ideally no more than 2 hours from an office to maximize team interaction.
Our offices are equipped with skis, muddy boots, bikes, and ice axes — not ping pong tables. We hope you’ll enjoy some runs on powder days before heading to the office.
We invite applicants from all backgrounds to apply and register their interest by uploading their CV. We will contact you first when a suitable opportunity arises.
