With extensive experience in leather production and finishing, we serve major automotive manufacturers worldwide. Our "handcrafted" leather technology enables high-end vehicle manufacturers to create leather interiors tailored to their customers' exquisite tastes. We are seeking a Senior Designer (m/f/d) in CMF (color, material, finish) design in Mülheim an der Ruhr or Stuttgart, Germany.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team including finishing engineers, sales & marketing, color technicians, process engineers, and lab technicians to develop top-quality leather products for OEM clients.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with color & trim designers from various OEMs.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into new leather products.
• Develop comprehensive leather design concepts regarding color and enrichments (perforation, embossing, embroidery, quilting, printing, etc.).
• Convert design concepts into production-ready drawings.
• Conduct trend research and develop global design and trend presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in CMF design, industrial design, graphic design, textile design, or related field.
• 8-10 years of professional design experience, preferably in mobility design.
• Strong skills in materials and color research, with an ability to identify nuances and differences.
• Creative and innovative with knowledge of consumer trends and material/color preferences.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator; excellent presentation skills.
• Experience working in international environments.
• Organized, self-motivated, and passionate about design.
• Structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
