Salary : €90,000 – €95,000 per year

About the Role

We’re hiring a Team Lead Software Engineering for one of Germany’s most exciting FinTechs – and we’re looking for a true Angular heavyweight . If you're not just familiar with Angular, but live and breathe it , read on.

This role demands someone who’s not only an experienced leader (3+ years with at least 3 direct reports) but who can personally architect and ship complex, production-grade Angular applications . You’ll own the frontend, guide your team with authority and empathy, and ensure high standards from concept to deployment.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers
• Take full ownership of the Angular codebase – design, architecture, and performance
• Define and enforce best practices across the stack, especially in the frontend
• Work hands-on in Angular daily – you're not just reviewing, you're coding
• Collaborate with Product to translate complex ideas into elegant solutions
• Identify blockers early – technical or interpersonal – and resolve them fast
• Organize and attend monthly team offsites (e.g. Berlin or Munich)

Your Profile

• 3+ years of tech team leadership experience (min. 3 direct reports)
• 5+ years of deep Angular experience – you've built, scaled, and maintained large, high-traffic Angular apps
• Expert in clean architecture, modular Angular design, testing, and performance tuning
• You’re opinionated (in the best way) about Angular standards, DX, and code quality
• Experience with CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes is a strong plus
• You lead with clarity, kindness, and technical excellence
• Fluent in English (C1); German is a strong plus
