Information about the position

We are searching for a Senior in-house Legal Counsel to work on litigation matters.

In this position, you'll

• Manage and drive strategy for litigation and pre-litigation matters on regulatory, consumer affairs, platform regulations, content-related matters and commercial/contractual issues.
• Advise management stakeholders on litigation strategy and risks.
• Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes.
• Work with and coordinate outsourced legal counsels in all of our jurisdictions.
• Work closely with business teams (such as Product, PR, Customer Support, and others) to identify and address relevant legal risks.
• Build processes with other operational teams (e.g., training, guidelines) to facilitate legal compliance across the company.
• Be the legal POC for the sustainability team.

About you

• Qualification in one bar association.
• A lawyer with 7+ years of experience in a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in litigation (commercial, platform, and consumer-related ideally).
• Experience managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing high-stakes, complex litigation.
• Experience dealing with authorities (requests for information, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Platform-related litigation experience is a strong plus.
• The skills, willingness, and initiative to own legal issues across many different jurisdictions.
• Proactivity and attention to detail.
• Passionate about technology-driven businesses.
