Job Description

Our client is seeking a Presales Technical Consultant to lead technical relationships within an assigned territory or vertical industry, engaging with prospects, existing clients, business partners, and application ecosystem partners. The role involves travel to customer sites within Germany, with an estimated travel time of 40% – 50% of the job.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver presentations and whiteboarding sessions
  2. Conduct interactive demonstrations
  3. Manage accounts effectively
  4. Perform evaluations and proof-of-concept activities
  5. Follow up on customer inquiries
  6. Develop configurations and proposals for customers
  7. Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop a competitive product roadmap
  8. Support the sales team to achieve results

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of technical pre-sales experience supporting a quota-carrying team
  2. Ability to communicate effectively with both executives and technical staff
  3. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and identify new opportunities
  4. Experience providing insights into competitive products and differentiating offerings
  5. Strong listening, presentation, and written communication skills
  6. Ability to build high-level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and other senior managers
  7. Experience in creating and delivering architecture proposals and solution briefs
  8. Experience leading responses to POCs, RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
  9. Proficiency with TCO analysis tools for financial justification
  10. Experience collaborating with business partners to deliver solutions and services
  11. Creative problem-solving skills and determination to achieve results
