The Opportunity

This position works out of our regions Passau, München, Ulm, Reutlingen in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

Your Tasks:

  1. Achieving or overachieving sales and market share targets, KPIs as defined, and driving profitable growth in the assigned region (in alignment with Area & National strategy and goals).
  2. Leading a team of 8-12 direct reports (Sales Representatives).
  3. Ensuring that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
  4. Driving profitable growth in the assigned region.
  5. Driving profitable revenue growth through volume, account, and expense management, both through market share gain, market, and account analysis.
  6. Ensuring the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management, and reward.
  7. Successful implementation of country product launches.

Your Qualifications:

  1. Postgraduate diploma or University degree and 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  2. 3-5 years experience in either Pharma or Medical Device sectors.
  3. Strong knowledge of the competitive and diabetes technology landscape.
  4. Proven ability to work as an RSM with KOLs in the Healthcare segment.
  5. Fluent in German and proficient in English.
  6. Experience in leading high-performance teams.
  7. Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
  8. Highly engaging, with strong motivational skills.
