Things to know

  • Consent to an extended security check in accordance with Section 9 SÜG (Security Check Act) is a prerequisite for an application. This security check must not result in a security risk that would prevent the security-sensitive activity (Section 14 SÜG).
  • The Federal Criminal Police Office promotes equality between women and men and is therefore particularly interested in applications from women in order to increase their proportion in areas where they are still underrepresented. Female applicants with equal qualifications will be given preferential consideration in these areas.
  • What counts for us is ability, not sexual orientation or identity, religion or origin. We therefore welcome applications from all people.
  • We promote the equal participation of people with disabilities in working life. If they are formally suitable, severely disabled people and people of equal status are admitted to selection procedures and given preferential consideration if they are equally suitable. Only the minimum level of physical aptitude is required.
