A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be part of the Operations & Maintenance team at Hunterston HVDC Converter Station, capable of transferring 2250MW of power between Scotland and North Wales. Your responsibilities include providing customer support through planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring safety, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires a solid electrical engineering background and flexibility in working environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Experience with electrical and mechanical installations on industrial sites or substations

  • IT literacy, good communication, and organizational skills
  • Teamwork experience and understanding of H&S legislation and risk management
