Do you enjoy driving change? As Software Sales Manager (SSM) for Hypertherm Associates, you can do this all while working with a great team. The ideal candidate will keep pace with software advancements, provide product demonstrations, and build strong Channel Partner relationships.

In this role, you will manage, develop, and expand a diverse network of partners in an assigned territory, lead partner management and technology adoption processes for software products, and create accountability with partners to achieve sales goals and deliver an enhanced customer experience.

As a Software Sales Manager, you will:

  1. Manage our software business with Channel Partners including joint selling, demonstrating our software solutions, and driving product and cutting technology adoption.
  2. Train the partner and their networks to ensure our solutions meet partner and customer needs.
  3. Document the Distinctive Value Proposition and identify gaps regarding expansion within WaterJet applications.
  4. Collect data on market developments that drive new applications and solutions.
  5. Proactively recruit, onboard, maintain, and expand relationships with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and Hypertherm distributors.
  6. Use consultative selling skills to identify needs and influence both Hypertherm and the Channel Partners.
  7. Enjoy working with a diverse group of people in a challenging market where no two days are the same.

Who you are and the experience you will bring:

  1. 2 years of post-secondary education.
  2. 3-5 years of industry experience in cutting technologies (plasma, laser, waterjet) and sales with proven consultative and solutions selling skills.
  3. Regional Sales/Software Sales Management experience in industrial software, robotics, or advanced automation.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and industry standard CAD software.
  6. Independently motivated.
  7. Ability to operate plasma equipment within safety guidelines.

Preferred experience that differentiates you:

  1. Experience with subscriptions/eCommerce management software.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree.
  3. Experience training Hypertherm portfolio.
  4. Bilingual fluency in English and German.

Travel: 15-20%, up to 50% depending on projects.

This is a salaried position with incentives; a vehicle is provided.

Location: Home-Based (Germany, Netherlands, Spain, France, Poland, Turkey).
