Join PHOENIX, a leading pharmaceutical retailer in Germany and a major healthcare provider in Europe, supporting over 29 countries, 48,000 colleagues, 70,000 pharmacies, and millions of patients. We are looking for a Senior Active Directory Engineer (m/f/d) for our IT & Digital Competence Centre, with locations in Mannheim, Fürth (Nuremberg), or Sofia (Bulgaria).

Your Tasks

• Support and develop our highly available Microsoft Active Directory platforms, including Domain Migrations and security enhancements in collaboration with IT Security and CISO.
• Administer Domain Controllers with Windows Server OS.
• Manage complex AD and GPO structures, including root/child domains and DMZ domains.
• Support and develop AD Schema, Active Directory Federation Services, AD Sync to Azure.
• Perform error analysis and troubleshooting in Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server at 3rd level.
• Contribute to infrastructure integration and consolidation projects.
• Experience with PKI certificate management is a plus.

Your Profile

• Degree in computer science or equivalent IT training, e.g., IT specialist.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure architecture design.
• Experience in an international environment and with external providers.
• Independent, result-oriented, and process-oriented working style.
• Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, consulting abilities.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
