As a Retail Associate II, you will serve as a brand ambassador to provide exceptional customer service, contributing to the profitability and customer experience in the store. You will employ your problem-solving and sales abilities to answer customer questions and make product recommendations, supporting Columbia Sportswear Company's values to enhance customer service and teamwork. This role is designated for Retail Associates who are part of the Key Holder Program.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to questions or issues regarding product features, benefits, and availability; engage with consumers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from sales floor, stockroom, or other inventory locations.
• Perform all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program connections) accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to store profitability by handling product flow, replenishing, and processing incoming and outgoing stock accurately.
• Perform designated keyholder duties, including opening and closing the store as needed.

YOU HAVE

• No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a similar role or field.
• Skill operating POS systems and other in-store computerized systems; effective communication skills.

JOB CONDITIONS

• Frequently active environment requiring movement and physical activity, including lifting items up to 40 lbs., using specialized equipment, and exposure to dust and noise.
• Occasional need to work in place.
• Ability to communicate clearly with others.
• Flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and based on business needs, adhering to all applicable laws.
