Objectives of Position: The Manager Supplier Quality Engineering is responsible for leading and managing Supplier Quality Engineers related to a specific category of suppliers. The position oversees all supplier quality activities for their designated category.
Assignments/Tasks:
Authorities of Job Owner: Make quality decisions in areas of nonconformance management, supplier change management, supplier part qualifications, supplier audit follow-up, supplier corrective actions (SCAR), and CAPA activities. Handle supplier-related engineering change requests, supplier audit follow-ups, and collaborate with other departments such as Supplier Quality Engineering, Design Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, Supplier Engineering, Life Cycle Engineering, and Manufacturing Quality Engineering.
