For a project at our well-known, international customer in Manching, we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (f/m/d).

Tasks

The primary focus of this role is based in Manching, with support activities in Wunstorf and Langehagen. These activities are part of a larger organization covering retrofit sites in Seville, Turkey, Getafe, and Manching, as well as maintenance slots. The role involves collaboration with Performance, Improvement, and Innovation teams to support technological changes on the shop floor.

As a Manufacturing Engineer for A400M Retrofit and MRO, your main responsibilities include:

Technical Support

• Providing technical support for aircraft events
• Acting as a technical focal point with AMTAC/Engineering and CAMO
• Creating and following up on Service Requests
• Analyzing the industrial impact and feasibility of repairs and technical solutions
• Ensuring technical concurrence with Engineering for repair processes
• Defining and optimizing manufacturing processes considering technical and economic factors
• Interacting with manufacturing, finance, customer, and program management teams
• Leading future-oriented projects

Industrialization

• Managing industrialization and supporting the preparation of incoming aircraft events to ensure smooth transfer
• Creating and maintaining neutral plans in systems: structure, routes, work orders
• Establishing configuration control methodologies
• Developing neutral build processes for retrofit, maintenance, and upgrades
• Defining and optimizing manufacturing processes considering technical and economic aspects
• Collaborating with all manufacturing and support areas, including finance, customer, and program management
• Leading future-oriented projects

Qualifications

• Master's or Diploma degree in engineering, aerospace engineering, or mechanical engineering
• Experience in aircraft maintenance and technical support
• Knowledge of the A400M aircraft is preferred
• Strong manufacturing/manufacturing engineering knowledge
• International team experience is a plus
• IT skills: MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus; familiarity with A400M tools (OPAL, DOGS, AIRN@V) is desirable
• Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous
