Flight Physics is responsible for the design and characterization of all military aircraft programs throughout their product life cycle. We use numerical simulations and testing to understand aircraft behavior and to create and deliver aircraft representative data for flight performance, aerodynamics, structural dynamics, mass properties, acoustics, and vibration.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Support and develop technologies, processes, methods, and tools within Flight Physics in collaboration with technical domains.
• Implement machine learning and AI solutions through iterative model development: selection, training, validation, and optimization.
• Develop integrated solutions to support end-to-end digitalization of Overall Aircraft Design processes.
• Provide technical support throughout the lifecycle of process, methods, and tools, from proof-of-concept to industrialization.
• Document processes, methods, tools development, and transfer knowledge to stakeholders.
• Innovate and validate disruptive solutions in flight physics, challenging the status quo.

Desired skills and qualifications:

• University degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in programming and data science within development and engineering contexts.
• Proficiency in Python and C++, with familiarity in modern data science frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration, tool development, and a focus on business problems with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience with CI/CD environments and Git.
• Experience in machine learning applications for engineering is a plus.
• Experience with front-end and database development is a plus.
• Experience with CFD & FEM, HPC, and Linux server administration are advantages.
• Strong motivation to learn, grow, and work within a digitalization and technology team.
