Your Role

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Senior Manager of Operational Excellence to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of operational excellence initiatives across various business units within the ZEISS group to achieve strategic goals. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of leading teams, driving results, and implementing process improvements at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize processes and enhance efficiency along the value chain.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Operational Excellence team to develop best practices and procedures.
• Manage budgets and resources for high-impact projects.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to foster a high-performance culture and develop continuous improvement skills across the organization.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations optimization or operational excellence roles, preferably in a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of operations optimization principles such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management.
• Proven project management skills with experience leading complex projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Willingness to travel internationally for project needs.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
