Camera Operator (m/f/d)
YOUR CHALLENGE
As a Camera Operator, you are in a multifaceted role that involves video production, post-production, studio work, and live directing for our streamed events at coliquio.
You have the flexibility of a hybrid working model: from home office in Germany and at our locations in Munich. This role requires coming into the office several days a week and accommodating flexible work hours.
What To Expect
- Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various projects, including interviews, documentaries, and event coverage.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for live streaming, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Live directing: Use broadcast mixers, media key/fill software, and streaming platforms to direct live events.
- Collaboration: Work with the editorial team to develop ideas, concepts, and execute projects; collaborate across departments to meet specific needs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and organize video production equipment to ensure good working condition.
- Quality Control: Ensure video and audio content meet standards, including framing, lighting, sound, and editing.
- Documentation: Use project management tools to track projects and document technical issues and resolutions.
- Guidance: Provide technical guidance to staff members.
- Working hours: May vary depending on projects, including evenings, weekends, and offsite travel.
What You Bring
- Educational Background: Degree or diploma in media production, broadcasting, graphic design, or related field; relevant experience or training considered.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with audiovisual equipment, troubleshooting, cameras, lighting, microphones, broadcast mixers (familiarity with Roland VR-120HD, Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO a plus).
- Editing Skills: Proficiency with Apple Final Cut Pro and Apple Motion; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign a plus.
- Creativity: Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills in German (C1) and English (B2); ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Organizational Skills: Strong, detail-oriented, capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Adaptability: Flexible to changing requirements; willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
