Job Description
- Supervise team members and ensure the completion and approval of all daily tasks, overseeing the smooth processing of corporate actions, trading counterparties, custodian banks, and central securities depositories.
- Investigate mismatches, identify optimization opportunities, develop scalable processes, and manage the execution of time-sensitive tasks to ensure quality assurance, on-time processing, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate and communicate with external partners and internal development teams to ensure smooth processing and drive improvements.
- Lead detailed corporate action event analyses to inform operational decision-making and identify process improvements.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed a banking apprenticeship, Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent.
- Multiple years of experience in securities services, corporate actions, brokerage, or asset management; experience in a bank's middle or back office is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of technical and legal requirements, market standards, and practices for processing corporate actions, with expertise in German domestic settlement systems and processes such as Xact, CASCADE, etc.
- Ability to evaluate results, make fact-based decisions, and update stakeholders in a time-sensitive environment while managing competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
