We are seeking a dynamic Senior HR Project Manager to join the People & Culture (P&C) team at Blacklane. In this role, you will spearhead the execution of strategic P&C projects, establishing a robust foundation for data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with our overall people strategy and elevating the employee experience.
Reporting directly to the Director of P&C Strategy, Rewards & Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in implementing initiatives that strengthen our culture, improve processes, and enable data-driven decision-making.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
In this role, you will lead execution of strategic People & Culture (P&C) projects, ensuring they align with Blacklane’s overall people strategy and deliver measurable outcomes. By leveraging data and analytics, you’ll generate actionable insights to improve the employee experience and support key initiatives, such as reporting, compensation, and system enhancements. With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, you’ll help shape a world-class employee journey at Blacklane:
- Develop and manage the implementation of strategic People & Culture projects under the department that align with the company’s overall people strategy.
- Monitor and report on the progress of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and desired outcomes.
- Build and manage KPIs related to P&C projects and strategy outcomes to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Design and maintain reports such as annual/mid-year churn insights, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) metrics, cost forecasting, and budgeting (e.g., salaries, virtual stock options).
- Develop, leverage and maintain stable HR/FTE/Churn/TA reporting systems using existing tools and systems like Google Spreadsheets and Tableau.
- Generate actionable insights from data to improve employee experience and inform business strategies.
- Work closely with P&C teams, business units, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are effectively integrated into broader business processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline P&C processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall employee experience.
- Ensure systems are optimized and integrated effectively into P&C processes.
- Support the automation and streamlining of P&C processes using tech tools.
- Provide support for compensation topics as needed, ensuring alignment with overall P&C strategy.
ABOUT YOU:
- Strong background in People and Culture topics with 7+ years of solid experience in project management and people data topics, ideally in tech and finance, within large scale ups.
- Proven track record in managing complex and high impact projects, ideally in People & Culture or related fields. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in HR data analysis and reporting. Proficiency with advanced Excel/Google Sheets and visualization tools like Tableau.
- Experience with HR systems (e.g. BambooHR, Leapsome, Confluence) and project management tools (e.g. Jira). Passion for leveraging technology to improve processes and employee experience.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and drive collaboration.
- A champion of continuous improvement, staying up-to-date with global HR trends and introducing innovative solutions.
