Qualifikationen

Role overview:

Mabanaft is a traditional energy trading company expanding into new markets like Ammonia, Power, Gas, and Emissions trading. We seek an experienced energy professional in Product Control to support these initiatives. The role involves significant impact and visibility within the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily reconciliation of physical and derivative trades
  • Monitoring and reporting of daily positions
  • Clearing of exchange trades
  • Preparing P&L statements and explanations
  • Developing and ensuring controls in ETRM systems
  • Driving projects to improve systems and reporting
  • Supporting troubleshooting and biofuels exposure reporting

Candidate requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
  • Experience with liquid fuels, biofuels, power, or gas
  • Programming skills in VBA, SQL, Python, PowerBI advantageous
  • 2-3 years of ETRM experience beneficial

Ideal skills:

  • Strong IT and Excel skills
  • Logical problem-solving
  • Attention to detail in large data sets
  • Ability to collaborate with finance teams
